Industrial Advisory Board

The Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) of the Chemical Engineering Department at Parahyangan Catholic University (TK UNPAR) is a team comprised of volunteer experts working in the chemical industry and the field of chemical engineering. This team is fully committed to providing insights, ideas, and strategic guidance to support the advancement of TK UNPAR. The establishment of IAB represents an important initial step in building a strong relationship between TK UNPAR and the industry for the future.

The main role of the IAB is to bridge the gap between the competencies required by industry and the curriculum taught at the university. The team’s focus includes addressing current issues and topics in the chemical industry, developing program strategies, improving the quality of graduates to meet industry demands, and contributing to the academic growth of TK UNPAR.

IAB TK UNPAR was first established in 2017, with the inaugural meeting between TK UNPAR and IAB held on July 29, 2017. Moving forward, these meetings are scheduled to be held regularly at least once a year.

Currently, the IAB TK UNPAR team consists of six industry professionals:

1. Caroline Silka Wibowo, S.T. (PT. Pertamina Hulu Rokan)
2. Dr. Bambang Veriansyah (PT. Ferron Par Pharmaceuticals)
3. Dr. Ir. Andreas Widodo, IPU. (PT. Pertamina Persero)
4. Ferry Wirianto, S.T. (PT. Lautan Luas Tbk.)
5. Andy Gunawan, S.T. (PT. Ecogreen Oleochemicals)
6. Noviana Halim, S.T., M.M. (PT. Nutrifood Indonesia)

With the support of these industry experts, IAB TK UNPAR is expected to continue playing an active role in driving the progress of both the undergraduate and graduate Chemical Engineering programs at UNPAR, producing graduates who are well-prepared to compete in the industrial world.
